University of Groningen Press provides an open access publishing platform for peer-reviewed publications, academic series and popular scholarly works by researchers affiliated with or collaborating with the University of Groningen. By removing barriers to access and to publish, UGP promotes wide dissemination of research, supports its reuse in academic and societal contexts, and enhances the visibility and impact of scholarly work on a global scale.

The physical books of the University of Groningen Press are distributed in collaboration with Uitgeverij kleine Uil.
